Instant Messaging

Instant messaging is great but what if all your friends use different networks?

Gaim is a multi-protocol and multi-platform instant messaging (IM) client.

It is compatible with AIM and ICQ, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, SILC, GroupWise Messenger, and Zephyr networks.

Using Gaim you can log in to multiple accounts on multiple instant messaging networks at the same time.

This allows you to chat with friends on, say for example, AOL, Yahoo, ICQ and even an IRC channel all at the same time!

Gaim also supports features such as file transfer, away messages, typing notification etc. and even provides other unique features
