CD Ripping

Want to 'rip' tracks from CD to Mp3 to listen to on your Mp3 player? (where format shifting is legal, of course).

Audiograbber is a very cool application that extracts or ‘grabs’ digital audio from cd's. Because the audio is extracted digitally there is no quality loss and the software will even perform a test to ensure the copies are perfect.

Audiograbber has been around for years (it used to cost) but on February 9, 2004 it became freeware!

It has a nice simple and clean interface and is very easy to use intuitively. Audiograbber can also automatically normalize the music, delete silence from the start and/or end of tracks, and create MP3 files. You can even record your vinyl LP's or cassette tapes with Audiograbber and make wav's or MP3's of them.
