VideoLAN VLC Media Player is a very cool program that plays most formats and is very fast to load.

It is skinnable like Winamp and can even be used to stream video.

Yahoo! Music Jukebox is a free version of MusicMatch Jukebox with limited features. However, it is useful in that it can easily play, rip & burn MP3s and CDs.
