Graphics (image viewing, conversion & organization)

XnView is an excellent utility for viewing and converting graphic files and a free alternative to ACDSee.

It can import about 400 graphic file formats and export in about 50 graphics formats.

It is also a very fast viewer that you can use to view all the image files in a particular location.

XnView is provided as freeware for private non-commercial or educational use (including non-profit organization). The Linux version is also free for commercial use.

Just some of the things you can do with XnView are:

Resize, crop, rotate
Adjusting brightness and contrast
Create contact sheets
View as slide show
Apply filters and effects
Create and edit multi-page files (TIFF, DCX, LDF)
Batch convert and batch rename
Import via inbuilt TWAIN support
